Brick Plaza's Fall Lineup Is Half Open, and the Unopened Half Faces Cedar Bridge Avenue

Brick Plaza's own homepage says J.Crew Factory is "NOW OPEN next to Chipotle." Further down the same page, Raising Cane's is still "coming 2026 to the Cedarbridge side of the Plaza." Cuzins Seafood Clam Bar is still described as "coming to the plaza in 2026." Gregorys Coffee is still listed as "Opening next to Cava."

In late April, Shorebeat reported that Federal Realty, which owns the center at 100 Cedar Bridge Ave, had two clothing stores and several restaurants on the way. Six months later, that group has split into two halves. The two clothing stores and the Korean barbecue restaurant are open. The two biggest restaurant projects are not, and both have Cedar Bridge Avenue addresses a few doors apart.

Where the April announcements stand heading into November

The open-or-coming status below comes from the plaza's site and each business's own pages, as posted in mid-October 2026. Dae Gee's address and hours come from New Jersey 101.5.

Business Where it sits Status Hours as posted
Dae Gee Korean BBQ 56 Chambers Bridge Rd., Unit 14 Open since spring 2026 Daily, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
J.Crew Factory 76 Brick Plaza, Unit 31, next to Chipotle Open Mon–Sat 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sun 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
GAP Factory 56 Chambersbridge Road, next to Barnes & Noble Open Mon–Sat 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sun 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Raising Cane's 1036 Cedar Bridge Ave. Coming soon Not yet posted
Cuzins Seafood & Clam Bar 1048 Cedarbridge Avenue Coming soon Not yet posted
Gregorys Coffee Next to Cava Coming soon Not yet posted

The addresses show where things stand. Everything open on that list either has a Chambers Bridge Road address or sits next to Chipotle by the Route 70 entrance. The two restaurants that will change how the plaza eats, a fast-casual chicken chain and a full-service seafood dining room, are both on the Cedar Bridge side, only twelve street numbers apart.

The open half: two discount racks and a tabletop grill

The two clothing stores opened first. The plaza advertises J.Crew Factory with "The wait is over. Cozy up to the brand's Fall hues and textures." GAP Factory took the space next to Barnes & Noble, as Federal Realty said in April it would. Both are discount versions of their parent brands. Shorebeat described GAP Factory as carrying a line designed for the Factory chain, as opposed to leftover stock from previous seasons.

The two stores keep different hours. GAP Factory stays open an hour later on weekday and Saturday evenings and opens an hour later on Sunday mornings. If you're planning one trip for both, aim for Saturday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

The one new restaurant that's already open is the most unusual addition of the year. Dae Gee Korean BBQ began as a small chain in Colorado, and Brick Plaza is its first New Jersey location, according to Shorebeat. Dae Gee's own website is built around tabletop grilling of premium meats, wrapped in lettuce with rice and kimchi. It also lists kimchee cheegae, jun pancakes, chicken wings and bulgogi. New Jersey 101.5 lists unlimited BBQ along with street tacos, dumplings, Korean fishcakes and wings, and gives the hours as 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.

Those hours make Dae Gee the late option among the newcomers. It serves food until 10 p.m. on a Sunday, after both clothing stores have closed. For now, if you want dinner at the plaza from one of this year's arrivals, Dae Gee on Chambers Bridge Road is the only choice.

The waiting half: two long-dark restaurant spaces on Cedar Bridge Avenue

Both Cedar Bridge Avenue projects are going into restaurant spaces that have sat empty for a while. This is the bigger change.

Raising Cane's, 1036 Cedar Bridge Ave. Shorebeat reported that the chicken-finger chain was approved to replace the Quaker Steak & Lube, which closed during the pandemic. In November 2025, NJBIZ reported a target of late 2026. The chain's Brick location page still says "Coming Soon" and lists a phone number, (862) 343-6050, but no hours. The menu is short. That page describes the Box Combo as four chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Cane's Sauce, Texas toast, coleslaw and a regular drink.

Cuzins Seafood & Clam Bar, 1048 Cedarbridge Avenue. Cuzins is moving into the former Tre and Rosalita's space, and Shorebeat reported that a liquor license transfer for the new restaurant had been approved. The company already runs a location in Marlboro. Its Brick page still says "COMING SOON TO BRICK, NJ," lists the phone number 848-290-1284, and says only that official hours will follow. Cuzins says it was founded in 2016, describes its fish and shellfish as imported daily, and names lobster cocktail and fresh oysters next to larger seafood entrées. Its dining room is billed as "SEAFOOD • PASTA • FAMILY," with a "rustic yet upscale" feel.

These two will serve very different meals, one a quick chicken stop and one a sit-down seafood dinner with a bar. When both open, the Cedar Bridge side will have a fast-casual counter and a full-service restaurant a few doors apart. Federal Realty's VP of Leasing, Jeffrey Fischer, told Shorebeat the new food concepts would "strengthen the plaza's position as a family-friendly destination," and he named Raising Cane's, Cuzin's Seafood and Dae Gee. One of those three is open so far.

Neither restaurant has posted an opening date. The posted phone numbers and the "get opening updates" sign-up on the Cuzins page are the most direct way to hear first.

The coffee shop next to Cava

Gregorys Coffee is the last of the April group, and it's the one with the least public detail. Shorebeat described it as a New York-based coffee shop and retailer, founded in 2006, with 54 locations, planned for the space next to Cava. The plaza promises "fresh made coffee and pastries" in "a brand new store." The New Jersey list on Gregorys' own site doesn't include Brick yet. When that list adds a Brick address, the store is probably close to opening.

A walking loop that covers both halves

The plaza has given shoppers a ready-made way to see all of this in one trip. Its "Brick Fit" program maps a walking route with the distance marked. You start at The Boardwalk and follow markers "while you shop, eat and play." Shorebeat has described The Boardwalk as the outdoor section of a center that has grown "from a typical strip mall to a lifestyle-centric shopping center."

One way to use the loop this fall:

  1. Start at The Boardwalk and pick up the Brick Fit markers.
  2. Stop at GAP Factory beside Barnes & Noble and at J.Crew Factory beside Chipotle, two of the three April announcements that are already open.
  3. Walk past the space next to Cava where Gregorys is coming.
  4. Head over to the Cedar Bridge side and pass 1036 and 1048 Cedar Bridge Ave., the two restaurant sites still waiting.
  5. Finish at Dae Gee on Chambers Bridge Road, which is open until 10 p.m. every night.

The plaza notes that hours vary by business and suggests calling ahead. We'll update this list once Cane's and Cuzins post their opening hours.
